13in Women In History Keepsake Doll ~ Amelia Earhart

Our darling Keepsake Dolls are sure to delight you.
They are fully posable, which gives them such personality and makes them so fun to display.

This amazing girl is fashioned after Amelia Earhart … American aviation pioneer and writer and the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She was one of the first aviators to promote commercial air travel, wrote best-selling books about her flying experiences, and was instrumental in the formation of The Ninety-Nines, an organization for female pilots.

She wears a pair of linen jodhpurs, hand-painted boots, a light blue shirt under a brown leather flying jacket accented with a white scarf and airplane charm as well as a jaunty aviator cap and goggles.

Clothing is not meant to be removed. Hair is made from Merino Wool.

Her facial features are hand drawn and then painted with acrylic paints and shaded with artist pencils. Each one is unique and completely one of a kind. Measures approximately 13 inches from head to toe.

The dolls I create are made with every bit of my love and attention.  I personally and carefully source quality fabrics and pretty trims.  You will experience little bits of beautiful imperfections, frayed edges, and tiny, hand stitches. Many hours go into making each and every one become not just an idea in my head, but a beautiful, collectible art piece that’s better than you even imagined.  

The dolls are moderately fragile and made with small materials that are definitely not suitable for children. Please enjoy for display purposes only.
